Board of Management

Stork is led by a Board of Management that consists of at least 3 members. Management is done under supervision of the Supervisory Board, consisting of at least 4 people. The members of the Board of Management are appointed and dismissed by the Supervisory Board. The current members of the Board of Management have been appointed for an indefinite period.  

Drs. Sj.S. (Sjoerd) Vollebregt (1954) is Chairman of the Board of Management (CEO). He joined Stork in 2002. Before working for Stork he worked for Koninklijke van Ommeren, Intexo Holding, Ocean Plc and most recently Excel Plc where he was a member of the Executive Board and Deputy Chief Executive Freight Forwarding & Technology Divisions Americas - Europe. Vollebregt is Dutch and studied economics at the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

Drs. J.C.M. (Maarten) Schönfeld MBA (1949) is Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board of Management. He joined Stork in 2001. Before joining Stork he worked from 1997 till 2001 for Royal Dutch Shell Plc in senior finance positions in The Netherlands, USA, Argentina, Portugal, Switzerland and Germany. From 1997 till 2000 he was CFO in the Board of Management of Deutsche Shell AG. Schönfeld is Dutch. He studied economics in Groningen and received his Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Ir. H.E.H. (Hans) Bouland (1949) is Chief Operations Officer in the Board of Management. He joined Stork in 1975. He has held several management positions within Stork, most recently as Director of the Stork Technical Services Group. In 1998 he joined the Board of Management. Bouland is Dutch. He studied Chemical Technology at the Eindhoven University of Technology, followed by a partial study economics at the University of Amsterdam.
